DAR Program- Bringing Real History to Life

Friday October 11, 2019, at 5:30 p.m.,  Larry Foley, Professor and Chair of the School of Journalism and Strategic Media at University of Arkansas will speak on "Bringing Real History of Life:  Telling Reel Stories."  The program will be in Regnier Hall, College of Architecture, Panning and Design, Kansas State University.  Regnier Hall is just east of Seaton Hall on the KSU campus.  Parking is available in the KSU parking garage for a fee.  Free parking is in the parking lot across the street from Wefald Hall, off Denison Avenue.  This program, sponsored by the Polly Ogden Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution,  is free and open to the public.

Professor Foley is a master storyteller and an award winning documentary filmmaker.  One of his documentaries is "It Started Here, Early Arkansas and the Louisana Purchase."  Professor Foley will talk about how the states in the geographic center of the United States have been central to some of the nation's most crucial political, cultural, and economic issues faced by our nation.
